A life to be proud of…

We spend so much time trying to achieve and attain things. Hey, I’m a perfectionist, I do it too!

But the more memoirs I write, the more I see people downplaying the importance of their lives because they haven’t made a lot of money, haven’t had a stellar career, haven’t become famous. “I’ve never done anything much,” they say. And yet, so many of them have loved and cared for their family and friends beautifully, boundlessly. That’s a life to be proud of too – and it makes for a life story worth preserving.
